@SuperDutchy You're missing the point he's main idea is ruffly put to "unite against browser/tablet/phone gaming" cause they are slowly getting more and more popularity. Think of it this way "why buy console if I can play games on tablet or phone " It may not be for great graphics but some of contents like Plants vs Zombies and angry birds who I believe originated from Iphone (not certain) provide more gameplay then some of console games. It's not exactly competition but its great cheaper alternative.
@Jebril How do corporations benefit from your death companies care about your well being cause as long as you are alive you buy(if any health issues will occur whilst using a product the companies will care about your well being so much otherwise- Lawsuit ). How can I make money and buy stuff if I'm dead? AND NO your opinion isn't better cause you called me 12 year old. Your opinion states basics of economy learned in elementary school. At least I am able to see all sides (maybe not every aspect of it which apparently means I'm 12 ) of this not just bad ones like yourself lighten up!
1, Game titles wouldn't be limited to console (example god of war on ps only and gears of war on xbox 360)
2. All knowledge combined could lead to greater graphics faster consoles.
3. Gives possibility to new crossover games (as long as capcom and activision doesnt make em)
4. Game titles from nintendo or PS or 360 could be reborn in new better game (im not suggestin high graphics 3d Mario) like an awsome pokemon RPG with great graphics etc.
5. And of course it woul end PS3 Vs Xbox360 feud (honestly if you look at all + and - youll see they about same category (I have both consoles))
6. No more console exclusives (Skyrims Dawnguard on 360 as example)
Some bad things:
1. Prices for consoles wouldnt change unless newer version is realised which will happen often.
2. Capcom and activision will create nightmarish game crossovers
Regardless of what happens there always will be PC and MAC. If they do merge probably some new console will be made eventually.
