If it ain't broke, don't fix it.... Yet, they went to fix what wasn't broken and broke it.

If Microsoft is willing to financially compensate for giving up 'x' amount of time as the top-selling game on PS4, then by all means; extend it. I am no expert but that is probably at least $15 million a month they are giving up staying exclusive, in addition to hidden cost.
