@loveblanket: Don't forget the free beard and a new dress for Ciri.....that was some free "DLC" that saw me replay 200 hours of gameplay. I really enjoyed the game, but am baffled at the devotion to CDPR.

@darkelf83: Must-have like, say, Red Dead Redemption? The last 2 were games of the year and you couldn't play them on PC....how could a true gamer not own a console for the AAAs that solely go there? There are no AAA PC exclusives. Besides, the vast majority of PC gamers play on systems far less powerful than either the X1X or the PS4 Pro......the beefiest rigs are far more powerful, but relatively few PC gamers have those.....most PC gamers own laptops or towers for homework and not gaming. To each their own.

Let's be real here, no one owns a Switch as their main console...other than kids. Resolution or FPS are not a Switch player's priority. That said, I have seen some beefy rigs not want to stream Novigrad because of the frame drops and even on the X1X it ain't pretty, I have no idea how Switch 'gamers' will be able to approach Novigrad or the swamp.

@Imavnas: No question, if you are willing to put up with the costs and worrying about specs, PC will be the highest-end way to experience most video games (obvi excluding some AAA's that simply Don't go there....say either Red Dead.,...you might get them some day).....but the vast majority of PCs out there today are out-powered by the X1X....yours might not be, but most are. As tot he exclusives, MS has Xbox and it has Windows, wherever you want to play there games, their happy to take your money. As to PS....they have been behind the times, but now with MS helping them out, they are working fast to get all their exclusives on every device as well....but hey, if you love gaming on PC, game on.....I couldn't imagine gaming with a keyboard and mouse on a monitor like it was the 90's....give me my 65" 4K, my controller and my lazyboy....to each their own...enjoy.

@Arkhalipso: lol....dude, like MGS was totally revolutionary for its time....like hiding in a box was visionary stealth mechanics.....so visionary it's been copied by.....*crickets*. I freely admit I cannot speak to those games in their day, but I can speak to MGSV in 2015 and that game was hot garbage, yet the Kojima fan boys slurped it (same way they've been slurping Death Stranding while having NO CLUE what the game was....not even the genre).....how garbage was that game....same year as Fall Out 4 and Witcher 3.....compare it to either game....you can't...trash.....pretty good stealth mechanics.....one of the worst stories in any video game I have ever played.....utter Japanese nonsense......154 of the exact same side-op, with 3 variations in every single 3-hut town.....kill X, fulton X, steal the docs....over and over and over....and you always had to jump back on the damn chopper, spend 5 minutes getting to the nonsensical mother base, where there was NOTHING to do, just to go back out......and 50 main missions.....I mean 34 different missions, with the final 16 being the same as the previous 16, you just need to do them better.....and after EVERY SINGLE main mission credits rolled like it was the end of a movie.....immersion factor = 0.....amateur hour, yet still lauded by the weebs.

So, logically, let's look at what the OP stated......he was specifically talking about "series".....and I see the commentor speaking about a bunch of single games and a demo...it's possible you could say ZoE was a series of 2 games that only old people know about....which was rated ok, certainly not great....or it might have not ended at #2 in 2003! Do I totally agree with the OP, no....I don;t think there is any chance anyone not a weeb thinks this game is as good as any of the Far Cry games....and that includes Primal!!!

@Kintaro5000: Weeb alert. Look, we get it, you grew up on Japanese consoles playing Final Fantasy.....those of us not into anime have no f'n clue what you folk have been smoking to understand how games like MGSV are anything but messess made for 12 year olds.

Despite the troll hate for the first WD, for me, that was a really good game....gameplay was average, but the story was decent. WD2 was a downgrade in every way with angsty hipsters fighting "the man"....and now "post-Brexit"....fml.....the production quality is good as they are all deved in Canada, but some of the narrative choices come directly out of HQ in Paris.....I might pick this up in a few years when it's on sale for a few bucks....I might not.....and I normally get all of Ubisoft's games.
