Never took the time to play Resident Evil 6, and despite the mixed to negative reviews I am definitely willing to give it a shot on PS4 now. And it's been a LONG time since I've played both Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5 so I'm definitely looking forward to both of those. All in all, a good announcement to hear. =)
I like the idea of not announcing a game until right before it is released. However, I don't like how Bethesda seems to have fallen so far behind during this console generation. The moment I first played The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, my first thought was "How in the world is Bethesda ever going to top this? They are going to have to completely overhaul both Fallout and The Elder Scrolls to even have a chance of competing with something like this!" And I was right. I bought Fallout 4 to give it an honest chance, and after about 15 hours of playing I was bored. I went back to The Witcher III and haven't looked back.
Silent Hill, as I remember it, has been dead for a long time now. I hope Kojima is able to make a true, spiritual successor to the Silent Hill games at some point in the near future and I hope they are just as awesome as the first four Silent Hill games. =)
