If Metroid 4 is coming out this year, then the new switch isn't much of an upgrade, the new switch will be backwards compatible, metroid 4 won't take advantage of the new switch tech, or either M4 or new switch aren't coming out this year.
So glad to hear. Last I had heard the game was dead. Really hoping to get a great Indy Game after 20 years. Also Gordy Haab doing Indy score. Come on, instant win.
Good point and I got that, He's still a poet so I do think that he "loved" all the women he was involved with and you could argue that he did love what she represented, but if there is anything that this mini series taught us it's there are plenty of other ways to control people without marrying them. On a side note I find interesting that after her convincing role as a recovering drug addict in Midnight Club, I found her completely unbelievable in this.
The acting was good. Bruce Greenwood, Mary Mcdonnell, Carla Gugino, Mark Hamill, and man I am on the lookout for more things from Rahul Kohli. That guy is just awesome to watch. Ruth Codd, who was so amazing in Midnight Club, felt miscast and out of place in this. There wasn't anything about her character physically or otherwise that made me believe this billionaire would marry her. The rest of the cast was serviceable. The box checking and sexual inclusions were a little too on the nose.
There's never any real sense of dread or tension and I kept waiting for Carl Lumbly to see something or the shadow of something, but the ridiculous ending with Lenore took away any of the supernatural and threw it out in exchange for an industry agenda. Still, Flannigan is a master of his craft. While nowhere near the amazing Midnight Mass, Usher is still worth your time, as long as you're okay with a story more about real life monsters than supernatural ones.
