My favourite team is Arsenal but since I was struggling so much with it, and after following the advice of many friends and other players I came to terms with the fact that it just simply isn't as good as the other top teams in the game. I don't have Xbox Live Gold so I play it offline, although I connect it online to update squads and formations.

After my failure with Arsenal as my team for about a year on World Class difficulty (I can play on Professional just fine), I switched to Borussia Dortmund. After making the switch I felt that things could not have been better. Everything was so good - the runs that the wingers made, the crossing, the finishing... I had no complaints. But this only lasted for a week or two. I remember how I used to beat the likes of Liverpool, Schalke and Chelsea comprehensively on World Class difficulty and their strikers gave me no trouble (not even Suarez and Sturridge) but now I notice that I'm struggling to even get a draw against them.

It's like after a week or two of choosing a new team, even Borussia Dortmund has regressed and I'm getting frustrated with the gameplay (like I got frustrated with Arsenal earlier). When I'm on a counter-attack even though it's a 3 on 3 situation, the computer somehow manages to put an end to it. I rarely score and at first I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of headed goals Lewandowski was scoring (even though Giroud is taller than him), now whenever I whip in a cross even if it's decent, the CB gets to it first. I have set crossing assistance to semi because when I set it to automatic, the crosses would always go to the far post even if there were players in and around the near post.

Another issue is that while defending, the AI always outsmarts my defenders and somehow manages to dribble its way out even when surrounded by 3 or 4 defenders. My players seem to run slower too, be it while attacking (or counterattacking) or while defending.

Can someone please help me out? Also, while playing I usually turn on "Counter attack" and "Team pressing" quick tactics. I'm using the default Borussia Dortmund lineup.

Also, just so you know, this is the first FIFA game I'm playing on my Xbox 360. I've played FIFA before but only on PS2.
