Hi guys turned on my ps3 last night started up Dead Space and suddenly it turns itself off!? So i turn back on and it read 'hard disk corrupted' then instantly turns itself off again!? Now when i try turn it on the red light comes on flashes yellow and then blinks red. Read a couple forums online it appears i have witnessed the famous yellow light of death.

Therefore just wondering if anyone knows what my options are? Its an original 60gb version which is now out of warranty.

Thanks for the help!

A crack has appeared on the inner ring of the disk and is about 1cm moving into the silvery bit. I checked how i could fix this online and found step by step guide using tape which worked for about 2 weeks but now the PS3 cannot read the disk at all. Anyone know any other tricks i could use to breathe life back into it? I just gained prestige as well :(

it got nothing to do with culture sir, its the religion. i respect islam and all religion, their practises and law to abide...but this is just so obvious that the clerics aretrying to create a controversy, a failed one.

Because they are losers and can't accept change? If it was up to these people we would still be living in caves eating raw pigs because they cant admit cows taste better. I hate these people.

You have to respect the culture of that country, it's their country they can do what they want.

Barbariser

I live in Malaysia and our country does not deserve respect.

Maybe not but your culture does :)

You have to respect the culture of that country, it's their country they can do what they want. Now if they tried to ban the shirt in the UK that would be ridiculous. Although with us being the new soft modern English we would probably support the ban just in case we 'offend anyone'.
