actually I was told by a pretty good source a year ago that they do very much want to make a Final Fantasy VII remake but only when the company is in trouble, using the 1 game (FFVII) to save there asses, which makes prefect sense. The game that will get a remake (probably before FFVII) is Final Fantasy VIII. Which I think is pretty cool, FFVIII i say is as awesome as FFVII in everything except one thing. Sephiroth will ALWAYS BE the most bad ass villian ever. It would take A LOT for SE to make a guy more bad ass then him.
