Sorry, you must be living in some sugar and rainbows delusion where FFXIII-2 sold more than 2.7 million(a new low for the FF franchise) or where FFXIV is not failing miserably or where the vast majority of the fanbase or where the FF fanbase is not hating on this franchise almost everywhere you go or where Square-Enix has not openly admited to tarnishing the FF name. This "new low for the FF franchise" is only because the game hasn't been released for that long and it's a sequel. Expect this game's sales to exceed Crisis Core's in the near future. FFIX also didn't sell over 5 mil copies in less than a year. Yes, XIV failed miserably, but that's an MMO and that's the only game SE said was below the series's standards. Of course there are people hating these games on the internet, but do you honestly think there's even a million people who dislike them? XIII, Versus XIII, XV, etc., won't take over 8 years to sell 10 mil copies like VII did.
