New Super Mario Bros Mii? I was kinda hoping that was just going to stay a tech demo. It didn't look that impressive at the last E3. Maybe it's just me.
Also, "Shield Pose" seems like a waste of a good idea. Expand it. You know, make into a full game. Maybe have the tablet as a shield in one hand, then hold a remote in the other. It would like Gladiator fights on the PS3, but better.
@tehtimeisnow Wow.That's probably the most un-insightful comment I've ever seen. The Vita has better graphics. The 3DS has better games. The iPhone has a billion games that wouldn't entertain my 8-year old brother.
I admit, that thing looks pretty good. One thing I like about Nintendo is that they have a wide variety of colors for their systems. PS Vita: Black, Silver. 3DS: Black, Blue, Red, Pink, Purple, and plenty of Limited Edition. PS3: Black (As far as I know) Wii: White, Black, Red, Blue.
At the moment, I fully support the Wii U, simply they have actually given us a glimpse of the improvements and decent graphics. We know what it can do, and now we have how it can put innovation to use. If Microsoft and Sony could just show us SOMETHING, just one screenshot, I might change my mind. Then again, you can't play Smash Bros. on a Playstation...
Call me crazy, but I think that Nintendo is going to come out ahead. I have heard that T.V's are being made with more than twice as much resolution as the current HD ones. Who knows when they will be released. In the meantime, however, Sony and Microsoft can't improve their graphics. I think they hit the temporary glass ceiling, graphics-wise. They already went as far as graphics can go. Now that Nintendo is at the same level in graphics, they can overcome with what Sony and Microsoft don't have. Innovation is what will matter. And possibly online compatibility.
