I've started playing this one after some months in my backlog. Honestly, I think people is going too hard on the game. I guess they were expecting too much and, since it didn't meet exactly all their expectatives, they're bashing it now.
I'm really enjoying it, that said, I've been playing Dragon Age: Inquisition for the past months, so the linear, not very deep story is a nice change of pace for me. It's been a nice ride so far (I'm in chapter 6 now) and it doesn't feel repetitive or boring to me.

@GT_APE Plenty of reasons, starting with "If I'm going to be looking at this character for the next couple hundred of hours, I'd rather look at an appealing one."

If people need to constantly create themselves into a game to care about the character, it really says out loud how narcissistic we are...
Seriously, try to make a character for the sake of it, using a different point of reference, not just you you and yourself. It may even be liberating.

It's funny that you say that we PC gamers only care about graphics, when consoles is hype territory. Just take a look at gog.com, see old pc games still being played by thousands, and then talk.
Have you heard about the indie scene? Those devs that favor the art, storytelling and playability over graphics? Maybe you do now, consoles are starting to adopt these companies, but PC gamers have been enjoying them for a while already.
It's ok to hate us though, after all you're a slave of your choices. You don't own a PS4, Sony owns you. I mean "Xbox Vs. PS4" "Sony vs Nintendo", that's very funny to watch, please go on. I'll go play fallout 2 while I grab some popcorn.
When next gen comes to PC, (4K, 12K whatever) you'll probably be excited about the next console hype gimmick. We'll still be able to enjoy classics and new stuff in the same device.
Now I really like consoles, it's like PC for dummies, but that's the only good thing, if you think about it.

Also if you are going to create fake accounts to hype up a game do 2 things:

- Make sure the names don't resemble each other that much.

- Choose a game that can be somehow hypeable. This one is the closest I've seen to consensual online theft. It not only shouldn't be played, it shouldn't be even available for the sake of gaming.

@Aekar Hey, ever heard of safe areas, newbie areas, etc? Even the most hardcore, open word pvp MMO with PK and everything has them. It's called "actually developing a game".

There are dozens of online games, FPS, MMORPG, MOBA, etcetc, free to play and sub, micropayments and whatever, great, good, bad and average, you choose. Just don't make us think that this game is worth to play just because it won't give you cancer.

Online gaming, monthly free games for psVita and ps3 (and hopefully ps4 too) and price cuts in many other stuff.... all for less than the price of a pack of cigs a month?

@Zevvion @cowkiller321 @Vidpci @Mega_Loser I actually didn't like The witcher 2 at all, and got a lot of hate for that.. Just watched the review and agree with most of it. I just can't understand what kind of mental control trick did they pull off to convince people that a game with a UI design that was outdated already in 2005 could be any good. Oh, well, right, boobs, nvm...
