I've been trying to understand for 2 years how TLJ is such a disappointment to so many SW fans. Yes, it was a departure from the original formula, but sometimes things need to be shaken up to allow for fresh and unexpected ideas. If Luke was so great and needed to be portrayed as these haters wanted then why was always so unsure of himself throughout the original trilogy. The times when he was at his best were when he was given a pep talk beforehand by either Yoda or Obi-wan. And if you argue his actions during ROTJ then you can see that his true quest was the redemption of his father's soul and the rebellion was secondary. All of this is evident in TLJ, thinks of himself as a failure, rejects the Force, scared to train Rey because of past faults/overconfidence, Yoda shows up to give a shot to Luke's broken ego, and then he finally gets involved.
Not enough content to make an honest decision. The cross play option is interesting, but I agree it raises a red flag unless they can detect PC players who are using controllers vs. keyboard & mouse. Played both ways and each have their advantages and disadvantages.
I will say this though, I have a predisposed opinion of what a MW game is suppose to be like. The excellent story telling, personal interest in each character, the "feel" of the weapons, the pace of the multiplayer experience, and NO F**KING ZOMBIES!
I hope they don't disappoint and keep my interest longer than BO4.
Played this for 5 days on 2-3 hour intervals on PS4. I will admit a got a lot of 2nd places and top 10s, but no wins (Conservative play when the last squads are alive is key). I also got a ton of early eliminations, mostly from no team cohension, 2 man squad start ups, and bot teammates. I stopped playing after one round where my team just sat and watch a player slide into me and knock me down, even after I knocked off his armor beforehand and was melting his brain after reload. Literally was unloading my gun at his head while sliding towards me. Recorded this to make sure I wasn't seeing things and confirmed at least 5-6 hit markers. No damage during slide maybe?????
I'd had enough. I'm like some others here, I might come back if this gets a solo mode or different team based modes once season one starts. Until then it was deleted and I'm back on PUBG.
