Out of curiousity, what do you use for your controls. Using the RT for acceleration is pretty much a standard for all racing games I can think of these days.

Unfortunately Nintendo believes that allowing people to communicate will put the safety of kids at risk. They want to make it as difficult as possible to interact with other players, while they promote just that.

Just wait and play it in March. It's really not that good. Or get a 360 and play Tales of Vesperia. Much better game

Tales of Vesperia could fall into this category for me. I got a couple hours left in it but my 360 RRODed. I just don't know if I'm going to pick it back up after I get my console back. There's a bunch of other games I want to play.

I play online with friends when I invite them and it works great. But I have not been able to get into public games at all.

You are. Gold Members > Silver Members. Duh...

ouch, ya'll are rough here.

but yeah silver members get XBLM stuff a week after gold members do, I think that's kinda dumb on msofts part, it's just annoying to silver members.

The idea is to make sure all the bandwidth goes to gold members at first. If some high demand demo gets released, and I'm paying for xbox live, shouldn't I be able to get it before someone who gets the service for free.
