Due to exclusive games on both systems (PS3&360) I've had to buy both systems. But I've got to say I'm more impressed with the ps3. I've read in many mags that the PS3 is very over priced but so far the 360 has cost me more with breakdowns and upgrading(controllers and hard drive). Lets compair what you get in the boxes.
Xbox 360- You get the box with a tiny hard drive and no HDMI support. For $579
PlayStation 3- 60gb hard drive, HDMI support, Blu-Ray player,Two SixAxis controllers (which don't need batteries)and two games for $950
So your paying twice as much. Now lets up grade the 360 to be the same as the PS3.
Controllers- $80 plus $20 for the battery pack and $35 for a charger cable.
HD-DVD player- $250
60Gb Hard Drive- $300
Wireless transmitter- $170(the PS3 is wireless out of the box)
New release Games- $200 for two
All up thats a whopping $1635 just to compette with the PS3. So in the end which is cheaper? What are you thoughts?
