There have been wars fought throughout history, yet games are to blame for violent behavior? Yeah...ok......that makes perfect sense.....

The ship engine upgrade is all you get. The battlecruiser ship class will more than likely become another pledge ship available to buy. I doubt very much they will give it away, Though I know a lot of people will love it if they did.

@jamesthemaxwell I have played many MANY games that have tried to be as up-to-date as possible and even gone so far as to switch genre's. What you have to understand is that this game is staying as close to the original game as possible, keeping in mind people who have played the original before. This is EXACTLY what people like myself want. We do NOT want this to be turned into a first person shooter like Shadowrun already has been. If they add things like voice overs for everything, and other options for camera angles, and all that other stuff, they take away everything we want. When a company concentrates on making a game look pretty with all the bells and whistles, they have to compromise on everything else, which takes away the very essence of what the game IS. The story is usually the first thing to suffer, along with the ability to explore as they end up making the maps go in a straight line with no deviation.

So you tell me, do you prefer the standards that games used to hold with massive story-lines, massive explorable area's, or do you prefer the current state of games which have mediocre story-lines, and straight line maps with no real exploration (discount graphics because that is not the be all and end all of games. That just makes them look pretty)
