I would suggest just getting a new receiver with at least 2 optical inputs. You don't want cables running everywhere. If you're really set on stretching your setup though, just use the stock RCAs for the PS3 and a 3.5" to RCA splitter for your PC to your existing receiver. You're going to be missing out on decent surround though. As mentioned above, give us a model number of your current receiver so that we might delve a bit deeper into this, are you working with a true 5.1 speaker setup?

Obviously you don't have robot ears....:)

Bass is a silly thing when it comes to headphones, directional audio is far more important. I'd rather know where the bullet that just hit me in the shoulder came from rather than feel it. If you care that much just get a nice 5.1 speaker setup for whatever you're gamin on, put the sub under your desk and have at it. Trust the mids and highs if you're concerned about gaming, the lows are better left to movies and music, IMHO.

If you're looking for a good quality high-end cable that is cheaper than monster but still just as good I'd look into Acoustic Research. All my cables are AR, however, when it comes to a good power strip that'll protect all of your expensive goodies you can't beat Monster.

Get that TV, it's the same one i bought 2 months ago and i LOVE it:D

It's a fantastic deal and looks great with movies or games, even HD cable/satellite looks awesome.

Plasmas are very different when it comes to the 600Hz "subfield" motion drive and a LCDs native Hz rating, they're simply not the same thing and use different technology all together. Plasmas are going to handle motion better, little or no ghosting, much richer darks, and the contrast ratio is absolutely unmatched by LCDs. The only better option would be a LED TV, but i don't think you're going to want to drop a few thousand more into that.

Do a little research and spend money on good cables, component for the Wii and HDMI for anything else you have connected that will allow it. The issue sounds as though it's with the signal travelling through the cable and not with the TV itself, I could be wrong though. Or, you might have a bad TV. The "game mode" on most HDTV's isn't going to do anything to greatly impact the picture, in higher-end TVs it might change up the refresh rate a bit, but on yours I think it'll hinder more than help you. If there's a reset option in the menu anywhere you might try that.

You can't damage your HDTV with settings....high or low. Where did you hear that??

The only issue you'd have to worry about is power-draw...and your size TV couldn't begin to give you an issues even with that.

If anything I'd feel free to turn your settings up quite a bit higher, remembering that an LCD will benefit from having a higher contrast/brightness.

I'm using a 23" Samsung SyncMaster 2343BWX and it is by far the most gorgeous monitor I've ever used for my desktop. I paid $200 for it about 7 months ago(which is a hell of a deal!) The menu functions are fantastic and the touch-panel on the bottom-right is very responsive. This is definitely one of the better LCD monitors out there right now(and being well over 1080p doesn't hurt either.) :D

I play video games on it, watch BluRay movies, and do video/photo editing on it as well. I know it's under the size you stated in your post but it's worth a look if you get the chance, it's currently on sale again @TigerDirect---http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4844066&SRCCODE=WEBGOOSKU18&cm_mmc_o=mH4CjC7BBTkwCjCECjCE Happy hunting!

I would buy a second 260GTX, the prices are coming down and that will EASILY last you the next few years with no worries. We as PC gamers are luckily seeing technology race ahead of what the game developers can give us currently. Save your sheckles:)

*Oh, and as a side note, please stop using Crysis/Crysis Warhead as a benchmark people. It was terribly coded to begin with and won't tell you diddly-squat about your rig's true performance.
