Wow, so many misconceptions in these comments, it's almost ridiculous. 1. Yes, Zombies are confirmed back. Not only are they back, but Treyarch are upping the ante and possibly allowing for double the teams (8 players) and double the zombies. 2. Please stop commenting about the quality of multiplayer, since we know next to nothing about the multiplayer component thus far. 3. This is near future, as in, no laser weapons or starships. You're welcome.
@runtheplacered Okay, maybe that might have been a slight hyperbole, but not by much. There really wasn't any need for the condescending attitude. I'm not an idiot, I have done research, and at one point, I was all ready to custom build a gaming PC (had all the parts laid out and ready to purchase), but the cost was just too much. \$800-\$1000 may be not very much money to you, but I can't make that investment, and there isn't any need to be rude about it. Again, I'd love to get into PC gaming, but I just can't.
Great read. I've always wanted to get into PC gaming because I love high frame rates, mouse controls, mods, etc. but the high price point has always been an issue. I just can't imagine paying a thousand dollars for the sole reason of playing high-end video games on my PC. Hopefully this changes in the near future, with cloud computing coming into popularity. :)
How did I know that a flame war would be in the comments. Why can't gamers enjoy their own games and quit worrying about what other people buy? I am buying both Battlefield and Call of Duty- Battlefield for its incredibly varied and epic multiplayer battles, Call of Duty for its instant gratification, and possibly its horde-like mode as well. There's nothing wrong with people who play Call of Duty, and there's nothing wrong with people who play Battlefield, let's just enjoy the games for what they are.
@sergey1977 The games that they are offering (out of the five choices) will be yours to keep forever. The games provided in the month of PlayStation Plus will only last until the end of the month.
@bri360 Thank you so, so much. Far too few people realize that a reviewer's job is to give an honest opinion, not to fabricate a score which will please the most people.
