steam has great sales, their interface is nice, to me its the best, just make sure you write down your password.

i give the edge to crysis 2, more action packed and some of the graphics are awesome, though crysis 1 had a more realistic look somewhat only because of the textures, but the decision of the better game should be on hold til DX11 is patched in.

your frames should be right around the guy with the gtx570 , that is what i get with a single 5870 minimum 39fps. so is your psu good enough, you got all the latest drivers?

is your cpu overclocked to 3.6 or higher? these new cards need a overclocked cpu to get the best performance, also what aa are you using?

the 6970 is almost as powerful as a gtx580 and a lot cheaper and crossfire its as good or better. the difference from a gtx580 and 6970 won't be noticable in games. the 6970 would last a long time at running any game maxed especially with crossfire. the difference between 6970 and 6950 is at least 10 fps and that will be noticed in games.

go with the 6870 crossfire then, the $50 extra is worth it. 6870 crossfire will match 5870 crossfire which is very powerful

6950 would be the best choice looking at price performance. but i would choose a 6970 if buying right now gtx580 is too pricey compared to other current offerings.

560 sli would be the better choice since you got one already, dual cards don't stutter at all. 560 sli would last 2 years no problem, don't see any games coming out in 2 years that would give those cards a problem.

crysis 1 is still in the top spot. dirt 3 is looking really good, but hopefully crysis 2 will be the best when dx11 is patched.
