Oh c'mon...games shouldn't be reviewed with that amount of fanboyism. Saying any game is a 10 and that no future game will ever top it is just too much. I mean, Castlevania Symphony of the Night and Metal Gear Solid are two of the best games ever made and got a grade below 9. C'mon, let all the "WOW BEST GAME EVER" feeling fade away a little bit before rating it as perfect

The point is that complaining or accusing a company of being sexist (even if indirectly accusing or suggesting it) is ridiculous. There was some heated discussion over Mass Effect some time ago and I don't remember exactly why but there was something to do with Bioware not releasing ME with the female shepard on the back cover or something. It's really stupid forcing a company to give the option of choosing the gender of the character. And going back to Tomb Raider, I don't believe it would have sold so well if Lara was a man
@JediKnight366 @chavao666 Nah man, I don't think so.Tomb Raider was a hit when it was released back in the 90's simply because it was a woman in the main role and it was the first time it happened (or so). I don't believe the success came from it being an AAA game and the game wouldn't have sold so well if there weren't a sexual interest attached to it back then (I believe there were even some nude lara patches going on in that time). A similar MGS game with a girl on the main role wouldn't sell even if it was made by Konami (and Kojima) itself. The majority of gamers are still men and we identify with the char being bad ass and all. Not saying that women chars can't be bad ass or anything but surely that identification wouldn't happen as strongly as it is with male chars such as, again, Kratos or Snake or Altair or whatever.
Why doesn't EA make a FIFA with only the female national teams and an "NFL Madden Cheerleader" in which you cheer to make your team win Superbowls? Why doesn't Rocksteady release a Batgirl City or whatever? What about Call of Duty, Metal Gear or God of War? Because the companies do whatever THE **** they want with their games main character and that's it. Female characters don't sell the same (except for Tomb Raider) and, honestly, nobody is really annoyed by that. This discussion over gender equality in games is ridiculously annoying and, I believe most female gamers out there would rather play a Mario game than a Princess Peach one.
@Apathy4Marmite @maitkarro Exactly what I was going to say. GTA is made to be the most controversial game at all times. You can't compare that to this "extra boobs for cosplay" kind of thing
