Random thoughts

skip Blu-Ray get a regular dvd thing unless you're hooking it up to an 80 inch plasma

7970 is overkill unless you're gonna use a triple-monitor setup, kick it down to a 7850

RAM is fine, you can kick it down to 8 gig with no appreciable difference (if 16gb becomes necessary in the future, you gonna want a higher speed)

skip the soundcard unless you're gonna invest in serious audiophile hardware

Mobo is good, maybe upgrade for 2xPCIE slots, in the future you can add another 7850 and xfire them

CPU is good

Power supply is good, not sure about the Seasonic brand

HD is good

SSD meh, probably extraneous

Speakers are fine

$89 for a webcam? Only if I'm doing porno.

Skip wireless keyboard/mouse, get wired

OS is fine

Monitor is fine

You can get a surge protector at Wally World for 6 bucks

Joystick, ok

Gamepad no, get a wired xbox360 controller, it's higher quality and probably have more compatibility with games
