@Mogan Yeah. I really wish they would come up with something new. Even Dying Light used it:

I know F. Gary Gray is a veteran, but I can see him being better at a Furious movie than that false hollywood Straight Outta Compton movie. It's better suited for a big action movie series like Furious.

My favorite is easily Perfect Dark (N64).

I think one of you big gaming sites should explore that story.

@blprater Correct. Dead Island was actually good if you made it past Act I. If anyone quit before Act I was over, I don't blame them, but Act II is where the game begins for me. I believe that Dying Light (made by the original DI team) will be the true game and I think Dead Island 2 has a good chance of becoming mediocre because the publisher may be trying to just make money off of the name now that the original teams is with WB.

The first Dead Island isn't a bad game at all (unless you've never played it and just repeating others). It just has some design choices that kept it from being a great game, but it's also the type of game with zombies I'd rather play instead of round1, round2, round3, etc.

This publisher might run the Dead Island name into the ground though while the true spirit of the game will live on in Dying Light.

@jinzo9988 lol you can't count this particular game or the MOBA version. Wait for Dead Island 2 to see if that'll be the thing or check out the true Dead Island called 'Dying Light'.

That's cool, but I'd rather have the other stuff, like missions or another Vault Hunter mode.

@Keivz_basic That's one thing I've always said throughout the years. I like 2K, but Lives animations have always flowed naturally and just better overall. I'm still waiting on 2K to smooth out the transitions between motions.
