There really is no excuse for why they cant put in a text chat for pc. That doesn't take much effort to do. bring up a prompt by pushing a button, type a message, press enter, broadcast message. Even putting in basic counter strike like commands could be done, but hey gotta shove this turd out the door. Mic I could see being harder, but still that's being really lazy.

I do like kevin's reviews more than anyone's on this site however I still don't understand "the bad" section when he uses 2 words "easy" and "short". If these terms are considered "bad" then how is gone home a 9?

you guys at gamespot do know most of your users on this website are hard core games right??? we hate watered down stuff like this that just tries to appeal to everyone. ok so what are you trying to accomplish? get more casual gamers? lol yeah right, those people just go out and buy the hottest game on the market due to word of mouth. very few casual gamers will come look at a review before they buy and that wont change. so instead you gave us this tablet/mobile like site which nowadays everyone is displaying the same format and it sucks. this is why i used your site. it displayed content well and stayed away from that "appy" look. now it just seems dumbed down and no gamer on here wants that. and also you actually do fail at appealing to tablets/phones because a feature you removed from the past is the timestamp to articles. now when i look on my phone i cant differentiate with whats new and whats old. at least add that back. another really dumb change is the fact that you throw the good and bad about a game at the bottom. why? cmon now, you throw the summary at the top. think executive summaries, we like the general facts thrown at us first. instead i gotta scroll all the way down and the site is slow to load with all this crap so it sucks. i dont mind change and you guys have made changes since i followed back around 2004, but this is by far the worst change i have seen. i bet even some people on your staff probably would say they dont like it. clean up the home page and how you display your articles then i might change my mind.

Games have become the embedded in gamers. It's like part of our DNA. When a "poor" rating is given to a game that means a lot to us, its like a personal attack. that is where all the anger comes from. personally i dont care if its a 9/10 of 10/10 gtv 5, but some of these gamers on here are right. a game doesn't have to be politically correct. the purpose of the game is to entertain us, its not REAL. so why should we care how women are treated or how violent a game is. its just supposed to be fun and thats all. plus if she cared about how women are being portrayed...she needs to look at the ads below each video on this website. "25 of the hottest cheerleaders in the NFL" and "15 Female atheletes you'd want to get caught.." seems to only focus on certain qualities of women and not treating them in a respectful way. Change the way you advertise on your site before you start claiming how women are being displayed in games.
