Honestly it's reveal. The Xbox One is a great device but it's presentation on stage was a disaster that still hurts them to this day.

I think it comes down to whether or not Nintendo succeeded in making Mario work on a portable system AND a home console with one game. To that degree I think they succeeded with flying colors.

I've heard great things about Injustice 2, as well as MvC3!

This year alone we got Nioh, Horizon, Zelda, Mario, Wolfenstein 2, and more. I think there's just more multiplayer games making it seem like there's less SP AAA games.

Indie platformers like Super Meat Boy should be a good fit for your set up I would think

Animal Crossing maybe? That usually has lots to do, and customization as well. I wouldn't recommend the phone game as your first outing though.

Really any game with a healthy modding community has infinite replayability, but I would say Minecraft just for the sheer number of new ways people create to play the game.
