I agree, I still love the snes, which is partly why I love the GBA so much - the rehash of old snes classics and also the newer games were still good.

The snes console itself still doesn't look it's age, it's timeless.

Great to here some likeminded experiences.

I've been stung a few times on ebay buying what I thought were genuine GBA carts but turned out to be fakes. Luckily I got my money back but on the whole if you know what to look out for and shop carefully(my exposure to the fake carts I bought made it easy to spot them when shopping on ebay next time) you can pick up some cheap genuine games.

Looking to get Pokemon and Final Fantasy IV at some stage but ATM advance wars is sucking the hours away.

DEFINITELY the best handheld I've played.

I had one about 6 years ago and played it alot.

I recently bought a second hand GBA SP on ebay for about £7 I've recently bought a few games for it, advance wars, minish cap, harvest moon and I'm having a blast!

I'm currently playing it more than my PS3 with red dead/gta/MvC/COD

It's just so nice to sit down anywhere, pick up and play, and there's some real classic GBA games out there that can be had for cheap.

Anyone else still keeping the spirit alive on the gba?

You cant `get into a 360` and dont know why? :|

Anyway, it already looks like you are more interested in a PS3 than a 360 so, get a PS3

PAL360
Not really, I've sat on the net since I got home from work at 5 trying to choose between one or the other to order before tomorrow. Last resort was posting here for opinion as I really am 50/50 otherwise I would of ordered already. BTW Last resort posting here doesn't mean I don't value the opinion or advice I'll get here just that I tried to weigh up a decision without too much external opinion first. Regards

PS3 or Xbox 360 !!!

But I cannot make up my mind.

I bought a xbox 360 off a friend for £50 and it's good fun. Came with Forza 3 and i'm a real race simulator fan, the upgrade options on forza are amazing.

But admittedly I have trouble attaching to the xbox360, I don't know why. I used to own an original xbox and sold it after about 2 months as I couldn't "get into it" - I'm feeling the same about the 360 - Ironically it died on me good and proper the other day so looking to rebuy a NEW one with warranty or a ps3. The failure rate worries me, but it comes with HDMI cable and is very cheap so I can order a few more games to boot. Namely Alan wake as when I'm not into racing games I'm into adventure, silent hill/resi evil type.

Over to PS3...

I'm going to buy a BR player at some point in my life so fact PS3 comes with one is a bonus.

REALLY REALLY pining after GT5 as i'm a massive GT fan (as in I only just stopped playing GT4 on my PS2 abnout 5 months ago) and hoping GT5 will live up to expectations if I get a PS3 - I also set the precident I'd buy a PS3 at some stage in my life soley for GT5 - if it's good.

Build quality seems better and failure rate seems lower but you do pay for that from the pocket. PS3 tops my budget, in fact almost maxes it right out. Only enough for one game if I order it and that would be Heavy rain, again the action adventure.

I know no one can make a decision for me but can anyone who has both and is perhaps into the same kinda genres as me offer some advice???

Xbox 360 build quality really puts me off, having been first hand experiencing this only after owning a second hand one for a month(granted it was second hand...) and trouble with mentally connecting to the 360 for some reason
