@Brad-Ridge @bzrigger For me, it's BF4 until Planetside 2 comes out. The requirements for me making a purchase is that it has to last me for longer than just a couple of weeks. For those games that I burn right through - I rent through Gamefly.

Even with a review score of 8, I just can't see owning this. Renting it? Definitely! It looks like fun, just not at a $59.99 price tag.

@Printul_Noptii @Auriken I believe there is a perception that PC gamer's pirate games because of the idiots that brag about it on gaming sites. For example, a quote from a PC gamer that as of this post, is not more than 2 hours old, on extremetech: "When it comes out for PC, I will pirate it and play it some more..."

The poster was speaking about GTA V coming out on PC.

It's always unfortunate that the few ruin things for the many.

@bluefox755 Not really. I could see RTS games benefiting from M+K controls - and if multiplayer player-matching can be based on controller choice, then there's no problem there.

However, I would hope that FPS devs would just stick to the standard controller. K+M support is in Dust 514 on the PS3, and the K+M players crush anyone using the DS3.

@tightwad34 I'm like you - always keeping a running tab of things that in today's games aren't realistic. So the first time I see it, I notice it. But as more of these touches become status quo, the whole idea is not necessarily to make us notice these small touches, but to not notice that they're missing.

@LiquidGold @ex_xboxgamer @antonio24z The PS4 will have the cloud too. See here:

What bothers me the most is him saying "the most important thing is the steadiness and [ensuring] that it's always capped"... capped? CAPPED? So if the machine could do more fps they don't allow it?!? Sounds like one console is affecting the other.

This is what I don't get - There are reports that the PS4 OS will consume up to 3.5GB of memory (with 1GB of memory that can be "borrowed" for games). If the original plan was to only have 4GB of memory, that would only leave 500MB guaranteed for games plus the 1GB of "borrowed" memory. So at most, games would get 1.5GB??? This makes absolutely no sense.

Either the OS footprint grew astronomically after choosing to put 8GB vs. 4GB in the sysem, the OS footprint amount is false, or they had always intended to put 8GB in the system. So which is it?
