If you want your player to want to play your game for a long time you need only one thing:
The ability to level their character up and get stronger. If you have a good game where players can level up they will want to play the game for a very long time. Just think of World or Warcraft...
I can't believe that the makers of SCIV think that by putting some characters from some old 70's movie into their fighting game will influence more people to play it....... Ok, I love the idea. Darth is awesome and I can't wait to jump around and kick some butt with little Yoda. The idea is genius
Gears of War is a great game no matter how you think of it. Co-op campaign is great but the single player campaign is still quite good. I have finished it and plan to do it again in the future. :-)
