Here is a fact, every operative member of the Heavy Water Operation that took place in Rjukan Norway were MALE. No I am not a misogynist for stating a fact! No there is nothing to be triggered about that, and yes it is quite disheartening to see historical facts being omitted for political messaging. You know who also did that? HOLOCAUST DENIERS. This is why as a passionate and proud Norwegian citizen I HATE THIS MISREPRESENTATION OF FACTS!
Here are to the REAL Heroes of the operation. Einar Skinnarland Jens-Anton Poulsson Arne Kjelstrup Knut Haugland Claus Helberg Joachim Holmboe Rønneberg Knut Haukelid Fredrik Kayser Kasper Idland Hans Storhaug Birger Strømsheim Leif Tronstad Knut Haukelid, alias "Bonzo" Knut Klonteig Knut Lier-HansenRolf Sørlie (local resistance) Einar Skinnarland (base wireless operator) Gunnar Syverstad (plant lab assistant) Kjell Nielsen (plant transport manager)("Larsen") (senior plant engineer) (NN) (car procurer and driver)
As a Norwegian I find it incredible that now that Dice had an opportunity to actually tell the Rjukan operation in a accurate manner and they completely missed the entire point of it, in favour for some political message. What a joke.
@Sepewrath: I am simply pointing out that some people have pointed out many inaccuracies with what they have presented.
Also I am not talking about the women fighting in the war. I am talking about Gamespot lack of tolerance for comments they dislike. Whether it is a question of history inaccuracy or in denial of things happening during the WW2 is not my point. My point is simply put just because someone disagrees with what the article says, it is really weird that they would disable the comments section completely.
Dear Gamespot, would you please stop disabling the comment section in the articles you put out? You have done so on every article there has been criticism regarding either criticizing the the article itself, or criticizing an announcement of some game.
I am guessing this article had the comment section disabled because you guys found someone saying something inappropriate. But there were also a lot of people who had some valid criticism, such as it was not clear whether the trailer was singleplater or multiplayer match. As well as historic inaccuracies about WW2. Which we can all agree is not something the world is very fond if it is meddled with. *Cough* Holocaust deniers *Cough*
Which is an opinion piece from you guys, the comment section was not even enabled here, I am guessing it has to do that there are probably some who do not agree with this opinion piece. Would it not be more productive if you knew what other people think about this opinion piece? Rather than just stop people from commenting?
In essence what I am trying to say is that criticism is not something to be afraid or feedback, as it is the only way you guys can really understand what people think. So please stop disabling the comment section, and yes idiots and trolls do exist but they will always exist.
