I don't think people realize how many planets is 18 Quintillion. Start with a number of players who will buy the game... say 5 million. 18 quintillion / 5 million = 3 trillion and 600 billion planets... for every player to explore....EACH. I'm sure eventually they may add DLC for group play into the game, but really you may never find another person.
