I do. The DS IS my console. Thanks to my R4 I also get GB/C, NES, SNES and Genesis on my DS as well as awesome homebrew Like DSOrganise AmplituDS, GeoWars, Nitrotracker. Games that I'm too scared (or lazy) to import like Ecoris, ASH, Ouedan,Marsh, as well as fitting my entire gaming library on to my one card. The fact I play .ogg and .dpg show that I don't need anything else. Expect maybe more colours! :P

i wouldn't mind reading an encyclopedia of all things final fantasy (all the weapons, items and their origins) even historical books on ivalice would be nice. sweet_ride

I think thats a better idea than a novel. Now don't get me wrong I'm all for reading but do we really need more fantasy literature of the FF IP when there is pleanty of good stuff out there already? So yo want to read more about characters you've come to love and respect, there is pleanty of great fanfics out (albiet bad ones aswell.) if you really wanted. Despite S-E getting plugged about making nothing but remakes (Don't hate, I know its not all their doing, and personally I don't mind it) But least their sticking to making nothing but games. Alot of the staff feel as passionate about the games as much, if not more as the fans and the fact that they haven't explioted said titles in creating spinoffs that have nothing to do with how the game is played is what I think, a blessing.
I mean someone used Star Wars as an example before and thats exactly the reason why I don't want it to happen.(Although I probably could of said it alot less agressively.) Half of the stories produced can't stand next to each other due to the incosistancies and contradictions in one another and the moives themselves. And most things Star Wars just reek of 'money pig' ideas. I already think FF VII have been spolied enough as it is and look how well S-E did it!

Good to know there are other users on here that are so close to home. Now that I've been welcomed so warmly its time to check out the rest of the board (As I wrote my intro just before bed.) I'm enjoying my time here already!

Hey guys, I just stumbled upon your union minutes before posting here after following a Dragon Quest IX story. I like everyone here is a big fan of Squaresoft and Enix and was surprised but very happy when they merged (my first rpg was an enix game.) I signed up after being blowen away with how well presented this union is, I've always been drawn to RPGs for their storylines, the battles don't excite as much as progressing in the story or finding something new. Plus I'm a big collector of things and thats where I've come to love S-E games more so. If there is a collection of anything I just gotta play till I get 'em all (I guess its no surprise that I like pokemon too huh?) Atmo its getting one of every job card in FF III Hahah its taking ages so I've moved on to Dragon Quest V but stuck on a part I'm bound to ask help for (There are other people who have play the older enix games out there right?) I'm a junkie for DS RPGs and soon GBA rpgs as the idea of 'portable rpg' is heaven. I say DS first because I never had a GBA so my library of games is pretty small. and with S-E making remakes of the older FF games I've avoid the gba games. (They better do VI next, I don't think they need to do V it plays too simliar to II to find much success with a remake.) Being out in New Zealand means getting to buy a RPG game (both DS and GBA) is very very hard and I won't be surprised if I have to get a flash card to play some games on the DS. Don't get me wrong I love hunting down a rare game and buying it but man...

Any way I think I've veered off subject. But that stands as a good introduction for me as I do it alot. Hope to make some friends, learn more info and play great games with you guys and so far your winning me over already.

Yeah both the Bleach and Jump games look really good. Although its been set in stone that there won't be a release of the Jump games outside Japan if there is ever a third Bleach game comes with its new found sucess in the States we might just see an english version. (Yeah I'm yet to import)

Yeah I'd be happy with Jump Ultimate Stars if I wasn't such a wet blanket when it came to importing games.

He's right. Only reason why you'd hold off buying a game now is if your  budget didn't allow you to get another game for a few months. Then it comes down to choice amongst the games you want. And if your after a game that will last you till you can get another why not? Least that way you'll be constantly playing something.

Just wait.. FF VI and VII to be done. I'm more keen for VI and I've already played IV but with such a cute Cecil... I'd play it all over again.

Most of my games are single player due to not having enough mates with a DS. I got wi-fi and all but Pokemon ain't coming to Europe for tooo long. *goes and cries in the corner with the DS.*
