But in a way RE8 already had some open-world elements. The whole central area next to the shrine had multiple gates/paths. Of course, the approach to accessing and opening them one by one was more linear though. There were some other optional paths not that far from there, which were very open-world like.
It’s Smooth and Sharp. Not Soft. I like how all these outlets just copy each other’s articles without double checking anything. No wonder you could be easily replaced by AI.

Also, my favorite one was a blurry out-of-focus silhouette of Timothee walking through the desert with the camera all way down on the ground. They repeated this social media “artsy” moment at least 4 times lol
@probable: ha! I did look up their original review and right you are! It did get a 7, which is hilarious! That game is not a 7. It was a great game and deserved at least an 8.
I mean, I didn’t expect much after playing that demo, but, I guess, I didn’t anticipate it to be this bad. So all those delays did nothing to help them improve it after all.
