@jaybass: The problem is crappy games. EA has not made a good game since TF2 at retail since Apex is free. TF2 was nothing new, but it delivered a good experience and that is the last EA game I bought. All Zelda games got high scores because it kept consistent quality. An open world didn't make a difference. RE2 remake was well recieved and its not a new idea. It just delivers what people want from the genre and its complete while Anthem is generic, unfinished and dull.

For the record. Unfinished games are trash period. Anyone taking up for this game is a tool and corporate slave. Stop now and save what little of your dignity you still have.

@deviltaz35: No, that is your opinion. All of those games are mediocre minus Metro, which has the highest Metacritic at an 80. Far Cry New Dawn is not a complete game just like Anthem and both are priced at $60.

New Dawn is a waste of time and money which its just a cash grab. Anthem is an incomplete generic online shooter which is justca cash crab.

Crackdown 3 is outdated and mediocre with nothing interesting enough for anyone who is not an Xbox One only gamer to care about and its also limited but costs $60.

You need to except the facts. I am glad reviewers are finally being honest as certain games have been overrated in the past. You should be mad at companies releasing garbage instead of attacking reviewers.

You may enjoy crappy games but the rest of us do not.

@garysan: I do not care about Lara at all or her father. The supporting characters are bad too. I hate Jonah and wanted him to die lol. The whole plot just ripped off Uncharted 2. The setting looking for a hidden city, the guardians of the city who have been changed by the treasure they are seeking, the homicidal leader of the malitia, eternal life theme, teaming up with the locals to fight the militia, an outsider who discovered the city living with the locals and it even had the blue resin.

@cboye18: You are right. Deus Ex felt so old, clunky, slow and unrefined. The transitions from aiming to cover and melee were terrible. Square messed up Hitman spliting it into episodes and I'm glad they let the devs keep it so they will make a complete game next time.
