So over the course, from the time the game is announced to the time the game is released, the developer cannot make any changes to their game without approval by the fan-base? Why would a team that spent 3-4 years of their lives on a project need to have their decisions regulated by the community? I am a big Mass Effect fan, and I am sure the ending was horrible( haven't gotten the money to play it yet), but I know I don't have a right to tell Bioware that they need to do the ending the way I would want it. Yes they promised more, but I'm sure they did their best to make the game as good as they could. Why would they sabotage their own game?The biggest fans of the series are the ones that made it. They put more time and effort into it than anyone else... So shouldn't they, being the creators, get to decide from start to finish how the game will ultimately come out?

Finally someone says what needs to be said. As a community, we are observers of art and not painters. So no we should not get to say we want a new ending to Mass Effect 3 or get a flashlight upgrade because we think the game should have been designed differently and we certainly shouldn't change our art just because not everyone is in approval.
