They're GAMES, not movies or literature, so pushing a cultural point of view will just be annoying and polarizing. Assassins Creed was not a game about Islam, it was bastardized history with a goofy premise - because that's what games are.

I just don't see Ouya lasting very long, but the concept of the android console may have legs. I'm interested in the Mad Catz console releasing later this year for playing emulated games, but if Android can get some smaller titles normally seen on Steam, PSN or XBLA, then Android could end up in a lot of people's living rooms.

I just don't understand why MS makes the decisions they do. Why do they treat their own Windows platform like a competitor to Xbox? Why not try to integrate the two as much as possible? Greed, hackers, and naivete are accusations more than answers, I really want to know why they don't try to tap into that built in Windows audience.

Edit: As someone already mentioned, I savor the thought of Kinect and Oculus Rift working together, but I have zero confidence in MS making this a viable option.

I forgot where I read it, but 20 years ago a gaming magazine observed that "software sells hardware" in this industry, and that has held true to this day.
