The 20% discount on Day 1 games with Amazon Prime has hurt them. Unless I need something used in a pinch I just don't have much reason to go in there. I picked up a used game for my son recently and the kid behind the counter asked me about pre-ordering everything under the sun. I explained that I was an Amazon Prime member and he said, "Yeah they're killing us".
I have nothing against Gamestop, for years they were my go-to for everything, but they do murder people on used game trades and again there are places online that pay more. I traded in my son's Wii U, Gamestop offered me $90, Amazon paid me $161.
@blackmastah: I collect as well, I have tons of games but I delete them as the HDD is just not big enough even at 2TB. This is huge, I see an 8TB HDD for $229...I'm pumped.
@Zzshock: I couldn't agree more, the price tag is absurd. Again, I find the same games on ebay for a few bucks and I dont need to worry about any stability issues.
@yukushi: I'd agree with you, except that every other service that I run (and I run a lot of them) is absolutely perfect with zero loss. PS Now is the only service that lags and plays poorly, I should upgrade my internet for one thing that many, many other people have the same issue with? Read the comments here and on other forums. I'm glad it works for you, but you might be the exception to the rule. Thanks for responding!
Honestly, the price tag for PS Now is just too high considering how poorly it works. I tried the 7 day trial and didn't like the performance at all. I have a very good internet connection (in fact, my PS4 is wired since its right next to my modem and router) and the lag was just unbearable. It actually made the games feel broken. As I still have my PS3, I just pick these games up on ebay for a few dollars and play them with no subscription.
