I removed my pre-order after seeing the ridiculous 50GB day one patch. Why bother pushing out a disk if the day one patch is as large as the entire install? The last game that did this was Fallout 76, and we know how that turned out. For folks in rural areas with limits on monthly data usage before you get throttled, that patch size made it a non-starter.
@johnnyboy787: You must be related to Trump, making wild claims with no facts to support your assertion. Bethesda has already stated that any microtransations for the game would be cosmetic only.
Holy cow...You need to edit that video down to about 5 minutes. Wading through 2 hours of that guy trying to talk and play a game at the same time is painful, since he clearly can't multi-task the two things very well.
Why are so many folks acting so shocked about this news? Have this many people actually never heard of season passes in other games before? They've been around for a few years now. Either buy it or don't. Me, if I have faith in a game, I'll buy the season pass to get the DLC at a discount. If I'm not sure about the game, I'll wait. Either way, it's not something to freak out about, and certainly not anything new unless you've been under a rock for the past few years.
@jonsono2: ...Yeah, it's almost like making an Avengers movie and telling folks that there will be multiple sequels, and the previous movies will leave endings hanging with no resolutions. I mean, no movie could ever make money doing that....Oh, wait.....
@Nyc-WiLL: What do you mean "now"? Where have you been for the past few years? They have been offered season passes for future DLC on games for quite a while now.
