@markomir: My interest was already low enough to want to come here to read like minded people's reaction to it, spoilers and all. It seems to confirm that my own gut instinct... the franchise has unfortunately become stale. Bye bye Star Wars my old childhood friend.
@mighty-lu-bu: Yeah ok, I get that. And each to their own. But I don't like MT's and random prize loot crates, because it is trying to make money out of people's addictive personalities... Its just not cricket!!!
It's great your enjoying Battlefront II. I'm considering it, but not until I find out how MT's will be reinstated.
@mighty-lu-bu: Your argument, that ignoring MT is the best solution, will not stop these big Devs from taking advantage of the MT system, and ruining an otherwise enjoyable game & franchise.
And also do you realize that, by taking the time and effort to call other people, with different opinions, 'whiny bitches', actually puts you in the 'whiny' bitch' category.
@beantownsean: Unfortunately there is still a huge market for the MT 'pay to play' system. But they usually are only in mobile games that are fee to download and play. Not games that you have to pay $60-$100 to get your hands on in the first place. Hopefully other Dev's don't follow EA's greedy example.
I think it's a violent society that produces violent video games, not the other way around. And as long as there is a market for it, it will be produced. Go to the source of the problem. Do people want to play violent video games? There is a reason why violence is so popular in the current media formats.
Yeah this guy has a major agenda against Sony. Most of the points Mark makes, are just personal likes and dislikes. Most of which I was very happy with the on the PSP. So I can pretty much be assured that I'll be very happy with the Vita. Also, Sony doesn't take my money. I give it knowingly for the gaming experience they offer. Its my choice to buy or not.
