I love Jess even more after this episode. Joking apart (even though I do love her), PC is also my platform of choice.

I won't say PCs are inherently better, but the more I play on PC, the more I think it's the perfect platform for me.

@mr_gibberish @austrato Of course not. There's nothing wrong with the games Nintendo is releasing right now. They are doing everything right, using their franchises to move more units of Wii U to build a install base. That's how they'll get the attention of third party developers. I don't know if it will work, the market will determine that, but that's what they got to do.

Nintendo is using it's first party titles to attract people for the system. That's legit. Third party support will only come if the Wii U has a meaningful install base. I really hope that strategy works because I love Nintendo and they're doing everything right this time. The ones bashing are haters or plain stupid.

I understand want Tom is saying (I think is all bullsh*t, but whatever...), but I think Nintendo should use it's "old" franchises to build a install base, get developers attention, and then, if everything goes right, make new ones.

@RealFabioSooner I really want Nintendo to succeed this time as current generation platform, because I want it to be my main console as it once was. But, yeah, the competition might be tough.

@zequex I think they will come out with a new controller, or at least show it, like they did with the boomerang PS3 controller. The controller will be similar to the Wii U Gamepad, but larger and more comfortable.

@mr_azim I may wait one year too. Right now I'm focusing on getting a 3DS to play Pokemon Y.

Considering the current state of the economy, the fact that the Wii U is more expensive than the Wii at launch and that the competition now is tougher (XBox 360 and PS3), 460,000 units sold (vs 475,000) is more than enough to say that the launch was, with no doubt, a success.

@YYankee The Wii is the best selling console of this generation. I don't see your point.
