@RhythmAndBlues: We're only just over 4 years into the Switch's life cycle. Nintendo has only shown to make new consoles once every 6 years at a minimum. (New 3DS & Switch Lite don't count) The current shortage of superconductors and other parts makes it completely unrealistic for anyone to expect a new console/version/edition. It would be a New 3DS situation, but they're still not going to do that again. That was a failure.
Besides, we've yet to see the latest Zelda game on the current console. They're not ready to ship or even develop games for a new console[version] for a good long while. (Yes, this means "Switch Pro" exclusive games as well, like New 3DS) Bloomberg has just been publishing fake news lately, as usual, and people eat it up as if it were truth.
@dragonsama: I'm pretty sure the photo was supposed to be taken at the point in the game where you basically solve their little atmosphere problem, or was it with the suits? It's been a while for me, but I do remember this much. The main reason the photo ever happens is because they could ditch the suit due to improved conditions and a new safe haven.
The new picture doesn't depict this at all, in fact, it doesn't fit the lore at that point in the game. You improve their quality of life and their suits' tech to help them acclimate to any environment. Later on they probably won't need a mask.
@Thanatos2k: They've been using original names ever since then. Typically they relate the name of the game to how the game plays, the theme, plot, etc.
Breath of the Wild was named not only due to the open-air nature of the game, but also to reference the blue flame/light that is in the game; the Sheikah blue flame that powers the towers and the rest of the technology at that time and in the past. That would be the "breath". The wild breathes such "energy" as it were, so they went with that name. Not an easy one to guess ahead of time, either.
I fully expect the next title to be just as clever, though probably relate more to its new story line, or combat features. (Link's new spiritual "Hand"(?) companion, probably no more Sheikah Slate)
E3 Digital next month might be when we find out. If not then, then likely not this year once again. If it reveals in June, might be the usual November release.
@armos: Ok, smartass. I didn't say Xenoblade Chronicles was a bad game. I said it's a niche game for a niche group of people, as opposed to a popular character from a popular game.
Way to be a dick, though. Rah rah, you're so cool.
I don't know if you're just easily agitated, but you just blew my reply to you way out of proportion. I wasn't being a dick nor trying to. I was just saying that you're missing out on a good game. (if you hadn't played it, anyhow) Notice how I said "perhaps" you don't like it? That's context to say that I personally do not know your stance on the matter; it was a complete guess as to how you feel about it.
The context you gave to lead me to even guess that, was how you felt that Xenoblade as a game choice for characters, was "niche". It's popular, it's fun, it's great games all around if only you'd give them a chance. You might say you don't think they're bad, but you also suggest you don't like them one bit, saying there are 'better choices', when it's just all subjective and opinions after all.
"Characters that people actually want". Guess what? Xenoblade Chronicles characters were one of those. It is indeed a popular character(s) from a popular game.
How much you notice the popularity all depends on how big or small of a world you live in. It's mega popular in Japan and still holds high popularity in the US and other countries.
@P00DGE: Regarding BotW, they did say in a previous direct that we'd have to "wait a little bit longer for an update". This could be that update, perhaps a new teaser. Not getting my hopes up, but if it is, that'd be awesome.
@Fursnake: Yikes. Are all blind Epic haters this toxic? What the heck did they ever do to you? I understand you all want to ride the hate train all the way off the cliff and into hell, but you guys are being just downright awful about it. Hating on me for NOT hating them? Seriously?
Keep your hateful comments to yourself. All you'll earn yourself for this toxicity is a block from me, and as per comment guidelines:

Nothing you'll like. Just because you're anonymous on the net does not mean you can freely be an asshole. I doubt my respect for a company in competition with another should offend you to this exaggerated amount.
