@squishytia:All PC editions are on sale on IndieGala, and have been for quite a while now. Since its official release date announcement, I think. Shows 248 days left on the sale, but that's likely just a placeholder until the game is officially released.

https://www.indiegala.com/store/game/tales-of-arise-ultimate-edition/740130_ultimate_pre

Each edition's respective prices:

Normal Edition: -15% ($50.99)

Deluxe Edition: -16% ($70.99)

Ultimate Edition: -20% ($87.99)

Remember that these are before your region's digital sales tax. These are all purchased as Steam keys that they will distribute to you on the day of the game's release. (via email probably, or your IndieGala account directly)

Make sure to redeem it on Steam on the day of release for those who buy keys from other sellers such as IndieGala, to ensure your pre-order. Just to be on the safe side.

@Iemander:For those who currently own Windows 10, it will be free but in waves like before with upgrades from 7 to 10.

Anyone else who does not have Windows 10 will eventually have to buy it, likely for a couple hundred dollars as usual.

@ebola9717: Same planet, different dimensions progressing at the exact same time. Both games' stories were also set to meet their endings at the same time, too.

Obviously nothing is confirmed about the next game at this point, meaning if there is even one. However Future Connected and XC2's ending sort of leave things open enough that maybe they could mess around with how it could continue a bit.

@alex33x:A QAnon Trumper, wonderful. You said "free speech is just a thought", before. You're referring to "censorship" online in places like Twitter and Facebook, right?

I honestly hope what you said was satire, because at least then I'd regret wasting time on the rest of this, and no, there's no TL;DR.

Actual free speech isn't getting censored on those platforms. It's the abuse of that very same privilege to spread lies, hate, and misinformation that gets removed. The selfsame group that you inadvertently admitted to supporting was spreading those 3 main things, and continue to. QAnon just keeps on making up stuff and so-called Republican Trump supporters eat it right up, without looking for actual facts. Just made-up "facts" that can't be proven.

They get you all to completely ignore the actual real news sites, and instead go to places like NaturalNews, CensoredNews, Fox News, Rumble... ugh, the list just goes on and on. Those places and or channels should be avoided like the plague, as they spread nothing but lies and misinformation based on nothing but stuff pulled out of their backsides that they can't prove, because none of it is true and never will be.

Unfortunately both of my parents are neck-deep in that cesspool of lies that it's impossible to fix their "political views".

As for you, I suggest looking up just what exactly this QAnon "group" and or "person" is, and see for yourself how ugly a thing it is to follow, if you even know you're actually following that in the first place, which I doubt. See their history, and how every 'prediction' they make has failed and will continue to fail every single time. Since, y'know, it's all lies anyway that only gullible people believe.

Trump retweeted QAnon a while ago and started all of this, and they continued to tweet at him, so he did them too, creating a realm of lies that circulated massively since he was President at the time. After that, the narrative spiraled out of control to what it is today. A cesspool of idiocy.

@tom_cat_01: Wouldn't be Final Fantasy without that stuff. Crystals, Espers/Aeons/Summons, you name it. People expect those to be in the games, and SquareEnix knows that too.

Anyway, we've only seen one trailer or so so far. Combat looks good to me, but really need to see more to get a more concrete idea about the game. I noticed the main character will earn powers from from Titan, Shiva, Ifrit, etc. and use them in battle. That reminds me of the way Mega Man uses powers, or the MCs in Scarlet Nexus use their allies' abilities.

Unclear if it's a solo game with no party members just yet, but if it is, I think that's an entirely new one for FF.

@n0matter: It's basically like how "politics" have been for the past 4 years, (especially the last 6 months) except in gaming form.

As long as someone claims they're an insider and they're a complete stranger that somehow sounds like they have some authority through what they say, people will believe anything they say. Thus Switch "Pro" rumors were born. Bloomberg publishing fake news and GameSpot parroting it certainly wasn't helping. (and still isn't)

The current world situation still makes it not the right time, and Nintendo knows this all too well.

@dlist4ever:This is why no one should ever pin their hopes based on rumors. If the company themselves says so, it's fine, but a random nobody with no source, that is not fine at all and should be forever ignored. It's like the rumored switch pro; it is not real and people need to stop spreading false information. (looking at fake news bloomberg)

@onesiphorus:The release timing of Skyward Sword HD itself was a humongous hint as it was. I figured this was going to happen in some way, not 'exactly' how, just suspected BotW2 would have some to do with SS, and lo and behold.
