@returnofthebrotha: What do you think you are talking about? You can have something run at 540p and have it look like 1440p, regardless of whether RTX is there or not. DLSS IS the real benefit to these cards, not RTX and many of us have known this from the start simply based off potential (DLSS 1 was beta).
Even 360p looking like 1080p go ahead and do your homework. K thinks ill never talk to you again!!!
*I mean think about this: DLSS, or whatever the implementation may be, by whoever in the future, could change everything. A tablet, crappy processor... with DLSS acceleration? Imagine that tablet can only play at 360p 30fps. DLSS can make that 360p 30fps, 720-1080p 30fps.
That might actually close the gap between arm and x86 tbh. I personally know that the two are gonna meet in the middle, this is *probably* part of it.
@so_hai: Surface Pro. It emulates every Zelda... and NES through Wii games and does TV out. Given that Nintendo consoles run rampant with Nintendos own subpar emulators, I think it safe to equate a device that relies on emulation to run the games. It might even be more of a "hybrid" because you obviously have about 7 consoles with every games in its library ready to go in seconds...
Oh no controller? Wrong. It works with touch and a side attaching ipega for mobile, and has its own well manufactured cradle with HDMI\Diplayport for video out, which also charges it. When its docked, you can easily use an xbox 360\compatible x input controller. Even a proper controller for the console(s) you are emulating on the device to create a superior hybrid console out of...
(and PS, I am talking ANY Surface Pro ever made. Even the first one!)
@so_hai: "Best in its class?" lol it wasnt even the best "in its class" when it came out given they stuck with the Tegra X1. Switch SHOULD have been the first mainstream introduction of the X2, but that would have made it more expensive to manufacture and that is not the game Nintendo plays with you.
But please... keep going on, especially about hardware. You really seem to know what you are talking about /s
@so_hai: There are no hybrid consoles. Why do you think its not really referred to that anymore? It is a tablet with tv-out. Part of the Tegra standard.
