@neverstop @angryfodder @kyle004 There is no issue attracting new talent. Try getting a job in the industry. Its not easy. If anything, its over saturated.
@neverstop @kyle004 disagree. Games for gamers. I couldn't care less about "outsiders". They are outside for a reason. We don't need to justify the medium to anyone. We like the medium. It's why we are gamers and outsiders aren't gamers.
@Senor_Kami Twitter blew up when info on the limited edition was released. I don't think I saw a single video game journo defend it. They all took the safe political correct stance about how crude, immature, tasteless etc it was.....characteristics of some of the most highly scored games to date. Games that journalists/writers themselves have scored highly. They are openly contradicting themselves. I wouldn't of cared if they were just giving their personal opinion, but most were on their "burn this filth" high horse about it.
As much as I have no interest in one of these and its not to my taste, I think it has the right to exist. Video games as a medium shouldn't really need to conform to....well anything. There is room for tasteless, tasteful, unrealistic, realistic - rumble roses all the way through to street cleaning simulator. I love how open ended and diverse the medium is. You start complaining about things like this and where does it end? Did gamespot not score the GTA and Saints Row games highly?
