I really hope it's as good as they say, and it doesn't turn out to be the Illuminati manipulating stuff.

Even if you have tore up Battlefield 3 and have awsome precision with the controller.. just look at how much pressure the game puts on you to be FAST with both your aim and movement.

All the abilities you require you to aim/move very quickly in order to get your special kills right. Before, for example, the stop time ability runs out. K+M is more controllable and faster even with the fastest controller speed.

I think that it takes longer to become good at Dishonored if you play on console. Thats all though, it's nothing that matters much. When you get really good with your FPS games on a console you stop to belive in the whole "mouse aim is better" thing

This is the most pathetic, annoying, hilarious, and embaressing thing i have ever read in the fan boy category. You take it personal that a games studio didn't release a DLC for YOU. And that makes them bad, doesn't it, you entitled little princess.

You only made this thread because you are in your teen years. You feel like the most important thing in the world. And your hormones make you feel personally invested in what a billion dollar game studio didn't deliver to you, on your silver platter next to your hot cocoa. Just go F your mother.

You are uninformed on this;

1: Bathesda didn't make this game. They are involved in it as much as Atlantic Records (or whatever) was involved in The Marshall Mathers LP. In that they pretty much buy the carboard boxes that the game is shipped in so Arkane doesn't have to, and they pay the truckers.

2: Dawnguard is the worst DLC out of all DLCs for any game ever. -- Awww S*** no, U DIN'T

It stinks and you stink and Dishonored is the Chuck Norris of video games.

Many games are completely overrated IMO, so it's just up to your own taste in games. Except for the Metal Gear Solid franchise wich is an absolute unique gem of a series. Heavy rain and those "mature" games are also unique and all that, but Metal Gear Solid is more like a videogame than any of those, it doesnt try to cater to an older audience that loves quick-time-events. Also the graphics are still among the best in an action game for this whole console generation, nothing on PS3 or Xbox really looks better for 1080p.

There aren't many PS3 exclusive games that i liked other than that. Gran Turismo 5, dont bother if you have Forza.. you know games are pretty similar dispite having diffrent names, but Metal Gear Solid 4 is really something unique in gameplay and action and suspense and everything (if you dont like long cutscenes just press X). Production values are the best for quality and all that too.

God of war has something similar on Xbox, im sure of it. And pretty much any other game too. But the ability to play the old PS2 games and even PS1 is really cool.

Jak and Daxter HD collection, go for that! It's awsome.

Metal Gear Solid HD collection.

I haven't really played the Heavy Rain or L.A Noire wich are big exclusive PS3 games.

The other ones that people mentioned are great too like Infamous, but i don't list any because alot of them have something similar on other consoles or PC.

I am sticking with XP because i like it, so that may be it too. I did verify the game cache, because thats what came up from searching on google.. some other people had that problem with steam games. I guess it's the XP thing i think thats more likely since ypu guys say a single core might run it.

Thanks for helping me out!

System isn't old though. The graphics card is a beast and all my drivers are updated and all that.. it's just the core that can't keep up anymore. It's only a 150 dollars to upgrade it, motherboard and dual core and new memory.

Hi i downloaded the XCOM demo off steam (Min requierments list Dual Core 2ghz processor) and was very excited to play it, but when i klick it nothing happens. The little steam window pops up where it says "starting game" and it disappears, that's all.

My computer can run Starcraft 2 on high settings with a little bit of framerate chokes. I have a single-core processor athlon 3700+. My computer is great other than that, it has a powerful graphics card and it can run every new game that comes out, it just stutters alot because the lack of a good processor. Games that look much better than XCOM can run too. For example i play ARMA 2 without problems.

So does this game not start because it detects that i dont have a dual-core, or is there just some other random bug?

tech stuff; Ive looked into it, it's socket 939, so i have to change motherboards too. When i bought it socket 939 was the newest and best thing, who knew that would completely change? 939 processors aren't even built anymore! And a 939 processor costs 3 times as much as an equal processor on a different socket.

There should be a thread about this awsome homage to the game that pretty much defined everything that an FPS can be and meant so much when it came out in the 90's. Not only that but Black Mesa is one of the best games you can play today! It is Half Life one wich is unmatched by any other game being one of, if not the highest rated games ever. It would be Game of the Year if it wasn't a remake of a 1997 game.

Black Mesa is a full remake and the production quality is massive, it has far more detail than many standalone games. It has alot of humor and nostalgia for old timers and at the same time it makes this classic completely modern and accessible to everyone. Mind you it is old school so there is no auto health regeneration, ammo is important, and it takes FPS back to the days where you could feel like you accomplished something after a tough set-piece.

Download this full remake here at the official release location (a link to the official torrent) :http://www.mediafire.com/?khmzyygg4vetko0

You will need Steam. And the installer that comes in the torrent works great, you just klick and it installs like any dvd you stick in your computer.

It is great and it will give you 10 hours of all kinds of fun, varied gameplay, satisfying gunplay, cool story and enemies, great level re-design, super high quality graphics that are well beyond ANYTHING else in Source engine.. and.. blah enjoy!
