@tsunami2311: There's a possibility they might allow it on playstaion, but at the higher game price point that Sony had lead the way with. Consumers have a choice game pass(xbox or pc) or a higher price.
@philip6k: Correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no known way to plug NVMe SSD's for X or the custom one Sony is using externally by current usb or thunderbolt standards, the current PC's use PCIe slots thats why MS is using those memory cards for SSD expansion. But both have been vague on whether we can store on HDD's then transfer back and forth for next gen games.
@m4a5: There is a large install base of PS4s, it really makes sense to release essentially low to medium setting games on the PS4. Both the PS4 pro and One X are really still quite capable machines as well.
@lostn: Thank goodness Mattrick's gone, nothing worse than an absolutely tone death exec, went off to where he belongs too if I remember zynya or something.
@m4a5: Respawn is still led by Vince Zampella, one of the leaders who created the original MOH and COD, hopefully he still has pull and fights for his studio. Really hoping for a good star wars game...
As for bioware, once the founders cashed in and then left, the studio basically had no senior leaders with pull with EA and to make decisions. Bioware is not the bioware we know anymore.
If not for Vince Zampella and Jason West heading respawn, I would have little faith in any studio under EA producing a great game. They seem to employ the right people like Chris Avellone and don't take s%!t from executives whether EA or Activision, they'd rather show them the finger and quit.
