System Requirements Test like the one you got for Oblivion with System Requirements Lab, it would scan you system hardware then upload it to your profile. People with an updated system could get an emblem stating that and with an old system you would get another emblem, if it would be possible to give them automatically when certain hardware requirements are met, of course this would have to be updated from time to time as pc gaming evolves very rapidly.
As most of you know, there is sction of your personal profile called Online IDs, so far the only ones I have seen are XboxGamertags, PS3 and WII numbers why are the pc gamers forgotten?
I am suggesting that there should be a Gamer ID for the PC gamers, maybe using Xfire, this way the pc gamers would have something to be proud of. I think Xfire is the most popular "Time spent playing tracker" out there, so Gamespot should maybe get a partnership with them to include a xfire profile on our Gamer ID's.
I hope you understand what I mean.
I also thought about having a section of your profile stating the specifications of your Gaming Rig, I think this is possible with a program using DxDiag then sending the information to the gamespot servers, with this there could be 2/3 new emblems that could be given to users, maybe one for those with an updated and above average computer and another for a slow and old computer.
Just some ideas
Thanks,
André
