venom55521, The reason AC and Fallout 3 are brighter than other platforms is because the PS3 uses a different (JPN standard) gamma level. If the multi-platform developers don't adjust the art assets, their PS3 game will look washed out in comparison. Changing the color space in the PS3 gui isn't a good idea because it causes loss of details in grey areas by shortening the black and white color space.
