Also, the install discs are pretty much useless if you've already installed Aion for the beta. I put the first disc in and it said the game was already installed since i never deleted it after the beta closed. Tried the activation code on my master account and a message said it wasn't active yet, so i'lltry again on the 20th, if not then, the 22nd.

there's a code for an emote for guild wars included. it activates wings on your guildwars character like in Aion, just for looks. also comes with a 14 day trial for city of heroes. the music cd, 2 installation discs, manual, and quick reference guide with the codes i just mention are all in the game case, along with the Aion activation code which probably gets you the in-game content like the wings, earrings, dye, and emotes.

2 posters and the figurine are in the retail box.

also, the box says 1st month of gameplay is included.

yeah i know, that's what i thought, but sure enough, i got it. i ordered from gogamer.com last week whereas gamestop, bestbuy, amazon...nobody else had it. lucky me.

I just got home from work and my Collector's Edition was sitting at my door via FedEx. I didn't think it was shipping out till the 22nd. Just wondering.

if games are going to copy eachother, than they need to be judged accordingly. of course everyone is going to hold a candle to any mmo after wow, because warcraft just does it better.

i'm just saying what needs to be implemented for a better gaming experience and a stronger competitor in the sea of mmo's and the leader that is wow.

this game is lacking in variety.

The number of races you have, doesn't effect the outcome of the fact that there are two sides: Alliance and Horde - sure you can pick from 3 or 4 sub-races on each side, but in the end you're still Alliance or Horde.

That's no different from being Elyos or Asmodians or even if they added a sub race to each side; in the end, they are still Elyos or Asmodians.

i disagree. different races had different abilities which also made a slight difference in pvp and it slightly affected which race was best suited per the classes. my point is, everyone looks human in Aion.

theonly difference is that one group has backhair and claws.

i almost forgot, is there even a way to spec in Aion? i didn't see anything, you just buy skills and learn them and there you go...that's your skill tree. essentially, everyone in a specific class will have the same stats.

needs more VARIETY. hope they add to it.

it's a cool game which does a lot of things very well. the concept of battling while airborn is cool, the graphics are great, the music is great, and if they just charge a fee for where you only pay for the amount of time you spend in-game, it will be fine for a little bit.

i also hope that fly zones are less restricted the more you advance and level up in the game, and that the speed of flying also increases. once i got my wings, i was only allowed to fly in certain areas, but i thought the whole ideawas to able to fly anywhere. flying is barely faster than walking too, and trust me, it's not fun walking everywhwere.

mounts, faster fly speeds, anything to increase the speed of getting from point A to point B needs to be implemented. and i'm not just talking about paying flight masters or teleports to get to major cities.

i just don't want Aion to simply be an MMO with a nice paint job and a gimmick thatovershadows for the lack of other gameplay areas, because it just won't last.
