It's not an ugly controller. It's got that PS look. Xbox controller has the Xbox look. It's not ugly either. While it is true that controller design might be of value to certain people but personally, I'm not going to be staring at the controller the whole time. My eyes are going to be glued to the screen. As long as they feel comfortable, I'm good but if I "must" bitch about something, I'll bitch about the USB not being included for a $60 controller. Lastly, I'm super excited for the PS4! Can't wait! :D
P.S Congratulations in advance for everyone who buys a next-gen console! 3 weeks on the countdown yo!
Why are a lot of console gamers finding it hard to swallow the truth? I'm a console gamer and I admit that PC's are more powerful than consoles and are leading the graphics department. If you're buying a console for the graphics, you're buying it for the wrong reason.
Even if the customers perceived the policies negatively, making all these desperate changes just to get back their customers is a mistake for a huge corporation built with respect. Their move made it seem like they did not believe in their policies enough and what those policies had to offer. Maybe those policies were BS to begin with, maybe they're not. The problem was they didn't know how to market them correctly. They could have lost with honor, now they lost in shame. I hope Microsoft learns this well. We'll see what Microsoft has to offer for the next generation but for now, I can't wait to get my hands on PS4.
This is a cool idea and has potential but I've been having this idea in my head where one day they'd make a playground for gamers. Like an entire building or field or whatever the stage might be and set up sensors that work hand in hand with the Oculus Rift. We could possibly see enemies on the Oculus Rift screen but with real environment. Imagine how cool that would be. It would be like paintball except you'd be fighting monsters.
Oculus Rift is a start for something potentially great. All we need now is more time and money. I think within a decade, we'll be able to get stunning graphics and incredible response for full immersion. Maybe the Oculus Rift will replace the T.V for gamers one day.
