@korva:

Right? People act like Microsoft is some charity or non-profit. Why wouldnt they seek to make money off their billion dollar investment?

@drod0756:

It seems perfectly right that the owners of the IP want people to play the game on the system that they invested millions to build.

@CrouchingWeasel: I've been buying and playing video games for over 30 years and nothing you said makes any sense to me. Why would be okay with Playstation exclusives but not X box exclusives? They are a business and in the business of making money. Accusing them of greed makes no sense.

Also, ES: Morrowind wasn't on th PS and th PS ports of the other ES, and FO 3 were disasters. This is just a return to th status quo for Bethesda.

Insecure is ending, not cancelled.

On My Block is a great show but it had a sensible end to it's arc.

Kim's Convenience will be be missed

@spoofrice11: It's the very mature of comedy to comment on the social world so how could it not engage with what's wrong with the world.

@sparent180:

Length is a sign of success, but it has never been a sign of quality. Stop pretending all those long running sitcoms and dramas from the 80's and 90's were quality. And soap operas are the longest running of all TV.

@Verenti: From a video game gameplay perspective, sure, strictly speaking cyberpunk is not a genre since it doesn't tell us about game mechanics but it is a narrative genre and that is the perspective taken in this article. The latter is making the point that the narrative themes(setting, character, plot, etc) common to cyberpunk, in film, book and VG, are relevant to our times.

@Verenti:

Cyberpunk IS a genre, a literary genre that encompasses certain themes, settings and characterizations. It's not merely a setting. Blade Runner told from the perspective of the billionaire overlord would not be cyberpunk. And you can combine genres. Shadowrun combines cyberpunk and fantasy. Blade Runner combines cyberpunk and noir. It can be difficult but the master pull it off.

@Utnayan: So video games should be devoid of references to actual historical reality, just to make you feel comfortable?

@bluefox755: Why would it be more interesting? We've seen stories about the "classic mafia" over and over. Why not try something new?
