the 7900 will run crysis but only in directX 9. It has been said that the 8600GT will run it better than any DirectX 9 card.

Where are the Performance, Mainstream and Budget cards?? I was surprised to see the 8800GTS 320MB in SLI beat both the 2900XT SLI and 8800GTS 640MB. Even in 3dmark it beat the 640MB and wasnt far away from the 2900XT

really the only thing i can notice better about dx10 is that in some of the dx9 photos the picture seems to be cut at the top and bottom.

oh yes and for every one who is saying the game doesnt look that bad i think the reason for that is. it is in lw resolution so if you take a small part out of the screen and blow it up bigger it is gonna get distorted.

i know thats what i hate about vista, i check my memory when im doing nothing and im surprised. on average when im just browsing the internet it is using 54% of my memory. so for applications that only leaves me 460mb of RAM. i would have to get a new graphics card for this i curently have a 7300 LE 128mb which sux but it is turbocached to 512mb. im thinking the best thing in my price range is an 8600 GTS. what do you all think?

thekey totally true, the only game the ps3 has to compete with this is metal gear solid which is pretty good but nothing beats this multiplayer
