its true that rare saved the DK series but that doesnt mean tht the great DK series should become crappy just because microsoft or watever brand bought rare.

and for the love god, please tell me nintendo is notmaking another donkey kong game that involves bongos,no offense but its getting old.

have any of thyou noticed that nintendo doesnt make donkey kong games like they used to. i mean ever since the gamecube came out all of the donkey kong games havent been all tht great, i mean come on "bongos" to play a platform game. and then the same for the wii, using the remote like a bongo to race in that one game called DK barrel blast. dont you think its time to make great donkey kong games like Donkey kong 64.

A while back, Nintendo of America's main man Reggie promised us some sort of surprise during the month of September. While we can't say for sure that today's surprise announcement across Europe and Australia is related to our upcoming September surprise, the jump to that conclusion isn't a long one to make. So what's up today across the ocean? In Europe and Australia, Nintendo has announced a special "Hanabi Festival" taking place on the Wii's Virtual Console for the next three weeks. In a slightly strange connecting to a time period in Japan when there are a number of fireworks festivals, the Virtual Console will be getting games in those territories that were previously only released in Japan or other territories. So, what are they getting? First up, in honor of the original release of Super Mario Bros., is the "true" Super Mario Bros. 2, aka what we got over here as "The Lost Levels." In a somewhat interesting (and slightly disappointing) twist, however, the game will only be offered for sale during this Hanabi Festival promotion. Selling the game for only three weeks is fine for everybody who already owns a Wii, but those who haven't yet picked one up are being left out; and, unlike actual game sales, there won't be used copies floating around to snag at a later date. Beyond that, those territories will be getting three games that were previously only released in Japan: Mario's Super Picross for the SNES, the lately rumored-to-be-coming-soon Treasure cult classic Sin and Punishment for the N64, and Ninja JaJaMaru-kun. As well, they'll also be getting the American version of two games: Ninja Gaiden (previously references to "ninjas" were cut from the game in those territories), and Gradius III (not too sure what's special about the U.S. version of the game in this case). Might we Americans be looking forward to a similar promotion? I sure hope so, but in our case, one wonders what we might instead be getting in the place of Ninja Gaiden and Gradius III, seeing as we've already received both of those. Sin and Punishment making it our way would be huge news, enough to justify this special promotion all by itself. It'd be nice to get a few other previously Japan-only surprises at the same time, though. wiigamer4life

what?

i got a regular DS in 2004, then two yeaers later my left button wouldnt work. so i got a ds lite about a week ago, and also bought the insurance for it. now im happy tht i got a ds lite but the left button feels like its about to stop working, i can get a new one for free since i have the warranty. do you think i should trade it for a new one?
